Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Consortium Core (BBCC)

Eric A. Ross, Ph.D. is Sr. Director, Biostatistics and Population Studies Facilities, FCCC. He will oversee all biostatistics and bioinformatics activities at FCCC and provide biostatistical consulting to CoE investigators.

Samuel Litwin, Ph.D. is a Member of the Division of Population Science at FCCC. He will provide biostatistical consultative services to CoE investigators including the design, monitoring and analysis of the CoE’s? clinical trials.

Edward Suh, Sc.D. is Chief Information Officer of TGen, where he leads and manages Computational Biology, Bioinformatics and High Performance Biocomputing programs

Seungchan Kim, Ph.D. is Research Investigator at TGen and Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Arizona State University.

Michael Bittner, PhD is Senior Investigator and Director of the Molecular Diagnostics and Target Validation Division at TGen.

Spyro Mousses is Director, Cancer Drug Development Laboratory at TGen.

Yoganand Balgurunathan is Senior Research Scientist at TGen.

Françoise Seillier - Moiseiwitsch, Ph.D. is Director of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource at GU. She will be involved in implementing statistical and mathematical methodologies that she has developed for the analysis of 2D gels and microarrays.

Habtom W. Ressom, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics at GU. He will be responsible for designing machine-learning methods to generate gene/protein interaction networks from time-course microarray and proteomic data.

Cathy H. Wu, Ph.D. is Director of Protein Information Resources (PIR) and Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at GU. She will be responsible for the coordination of PIR collaborative activities, overall system design, supervision of group members, and oversight to ensure progress and scientific quality.

Hongzhan Huang, Ph.D. is Bioinformatics Team Leader and Research Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at GU. He will be responsible for bioinformatics aspects of the project, including customizing iProXpress for pathway and knowledge discovery.

Zhang-Zhi Hu, M.D. is Protein Science Associate Team Lead at GU.

Olga Tchuvatkina, M.S. is Senior Programmer Analyst at FCCC. She will be involved in development of the CoE software, and microarray and proteomics data integration.
